While it's been requested by fans, the closest thing to it is when Paramount simply bundled together the individual boxed sets and simply shrink-wrapped them together, like what was done with the JAG series, NCIS and many others.

I take this back somewhat, while season 5 onwards is better overall, with less grain, there is still a fair amount of cropping, however it's obviously been done on a shot-to-shot basis (which is good at least) and some shots are almost a straight expand, but it's still pretty haphazard. At home, the brandy-oriented Frasier met his match with his blue-collar dad (John Mahoney), a Ballantine-loving ex-cop who walks with a limp and has a live-in therapist, a Brit named Daphne (Jane Leeves). So unfortunately, for an HD release to be possible, it would more than likely have to be reassembled shot-for-shot, just like TNG.

Everything else you've reading here is baseless speculation and people dragging the streaming versions into the conversation. Seinfeld was very sloppy and didn't add much on the sides, but removed a ton from the top and bottom.
